Cinque Terre
The all colorful Cinque Terre! Seeing the rows of houses in vibrant colors is enough for one to start looking for real estate here. Color can hold many different qualities, whether it be to emphasize a certain thing or when you associate color with emotion. With my two collections and how I incorporate style in my life I always want striving to utilize colors to emphasize and to show emotion.
When designing my first collection Vista my color story came from the houses at Cinque Terre. Even with all the colors being from different families and different tones, they all blended together so beautifully. I was able to capture the vibrant colors of the houses and also emote happiness and carefree vibe I had experienced that day. While with Semplicemente Bello it was a more softer color palette to portray a more gentle and relaxed period in my life. When designing, inspiration can come from many different ways and it’s cool to me that sometimes I’ll think I want to work with certain colors, but then you could see a piece of fabric, go on a vacation, or even just a reoccurring object that it could spark something and you know exactly what you want to do or at least get a good starting point.
Maybe we should all paint our houses fun colors like this because everyone here was nothing less than happy!
